I know you're excited.
So the DDD is to create a page using nontraditional colors
for your holiday photos.
The papers above are Authentique fresh. I tell you this because
they are seashore/beachy papers.
Weeellllll, while stalking Shimelle and her videos, she uses a lot of papers
that have sayings or things on them that don't go with her photos, however,
the colors or design may. So she either whacks off said offending noncompliant
entity or covers it up (she covers up a lot of embellies that way too).
SO like *let's all do a head slappin' DOH*.
I therefore whacked the top off the grid papers which had offending
(in this case) sand dollars
and took it from there because I do love the blue and red.
And continuing in my stalking mode Mz. Ashli she uses a lot of
negative space from punching. And the heart thing totally works.
So again with the nontraditional papers ONLY because I love
the new Studio Calico and had to use it.
I also again from Mz. Ashli whacked out some cloulds and popped them out
Because well Santa was flying through the clouds.
Its a cool thing.
My favorite eldest son has been tracking Santa ever
since NORAD became a mainstream word and he was their age.
Seriously, it was a way to get my excited boy into bed when
he was on alert that Santa was on his way to the 'hood.
I love that he's passing that on.
And here we have a traditional color/paper page.
Had to go old school - driven by the tree.
Used paint as a "mat" so to speak and stamped
the title. I know -
I'm such a cutting edge rebel.
Snort.
