July 4th card for the grands

Cardstock, a die, a stamp and a stencil
with some inks of course.
It was fun to do.
I whacked all the nesting stars and glued
them together.
As I was doing that I remembered I had a
"firework" stencil that would be
a great background for the star.

Since the background was white, I used blue jeans
and fired brick (distress inks).
WELL,
I didn't wait until the ink was dry and I got purple.
I like purple. It's flashy,
Sissix die, TH sentiment unknown stencil.

Birthday card for the granddaughter

This is a very cool sissix die that I picked up
for really cheap from a HL in NY.
Sadly, I didn't know Hobby Lobby got rid of all their dies.
Anyway, this is a cute die that
can be rearranged but I mostly did the example
on the front.

Used some really old Nicole 6x6 pad paper and
the rays worked perfectly.
Oh and don't get me started on the window.
You have to cut the die twice to get the 2 different colors,
BUT WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO DO
Is take those itty bitty pieces on the window and glue them on
the background.
WELL.
After an inderminate amount of time I called FOUL
and did the opposite.
I took the FRAME and cut it down for the backside of
the shape and wa-la
NOT SCREWING WITH ITTY BITTY PIECES THAT
I'LL NEVER LINE UP IN ANY LIFETIME.
🤣

The inside I actually used the stencil
for the background using wilted violet distress ink.
And the wild looking hearts are made from ink leftovers
stamped on white paper randomly.
Love them.

Father's Day card

I've been wanting this guy for a long time and
Joann's had a stencil die cut package
that had to be purchased.
Actually I dithered about it.
Just using some manly colored cardstock and distress ink-walnut
for the stencil and mussing up the gears.
For some reason I made the dude's hair with aged
mahogany - TH distress crayons.
(love them).

The inside with some more gears and a sentiment.
Got it in the mail but its probably gonna be late.
Sadly.
I am sooooo bad with dates.
