We raced down to Port Charlotte Airport to see the Blue Angels

practice. We were a bit late.

We couldn't get close to the airport at all.

So we parked in the Baptist church parking lot 

with the rest of the watchers.

 And we weren't let down.

 I forgot to put the lens on manual until it was half over.

 These guys are FAST and the lens can't keep up.

As if my fingers could - but I'm happy.

 I love precision flying.

 I love the Blue Angels.

 Did you know they get paid their regular salary for performing?

Even though they're rock stars of aviation.

 Tom was like I'd fly like that for nothing. LOL!!

As much as I love them I'm good with

admiring them from the ground

because If I rode in the cockpit it wouldn't be pretty.
