Fun Doodlebug Easter page

This is a totally adorable line with lots of
colorful, fun papers.
I had to fussy cut that sweet bunny out as
and embellishment.
Using the packaging technique with watercolors
to highlight the papers and another fussy cut emblellishment
that I added bows for a fun look.
 Funny story about the hearts.
I made a TON of them.
I originally got the papers to make Easter cards
for the grands. I wanted to make shaker cards, hence the
different cut styles.
Well....
they turned out to be an absolute disaster.
I didn't have the correct see-through stuff, using some
"transparency" instead of acetate, there was glue everywhere
and all the sequins and stuff kept falling out.
Therefore, they were scrapped and now I have a lot
of hearts that you may or may not see as photos of the
grands roll in.
Love how it turned out- the "title" is really
older K&Co.
Doodled around the page with a yellow sharpie.
Annie and Owen lookin' good in their Easter outfits.

Completed my Smash/Art Journal

I started this bad boy back in 2013 or thereabouts.
That is Creative Cafe paper - and that
has long been defunct.
And then it laid around because I am
seriously not that talented but here are
a few pages in case you care.
Over New Years we went camping and my first
thought was not to take anything scrappy-wise.
And that was okay until we had to return to the house
because hubby forgot something important
(which I now forget what that was)
BUT...
in those few seconds I dashed back in the house and changed
my mind.
I only had a few seconds so I grabbed this album
a bunch of different colored sharpies.
When we made a stop a Walgreens and I picked up a small
Crayola watercolor set and that was it.
I was gonna grab the watercolor from home but had second thoughts then.
Now I have one to keep for other road trips.

This is more journaling than anything else with some
*coughcough* art.

I'm glad I completed this book FINALLY.
It was a long time coming and its really just a random,
no theme or consistency (except the drawings are bad LOL)
album that need completing.

Remember that mixed media journal

Well.
It all started here.
I started out using a UNI jetstream pen
black and blue.
And they totally gave me a headache when I
tried to read those entries back
in the first few days.
So I purchased some Uniball vision and
they work really lovely over the mists.
Talking with my pal Holli who happened to be recovering
from surgery and those pain killers kicked in
actually asked if I had a white pen - when I whined about the
dark mists and GASP.
White pen.
And then - while chatting a sharpie was mentioned.
GASP again.
I had a sharpie.
And then I stopped the silly straight entries at the end of the day
because at the end of the day I didn't remember the day.
Therefore I kept the album open and as things happened made a note.
Randomly.
While my note taking still lacks - its getting better
because its as it happens.
And as it happens may be over bumpy roads
which results in sucky penmanship
and honestly while I don't have Heidi Swapp script
I have always taken pride in my penmanship
so when the bumps hit and the writing is less than stellar
drives me nuts.
I'm working on it.
As my pal April says its "evolving" which is so true.
I'm not only getting on with the note taking, the penmanship
but I'm adding some ephemera as well.
By the end of the trip I'm thinking we will all be surprised.
