Bolder Pink Fresh papers

 Love the green and yellow colors.

Used some Nuvo dots - to scatter about along

with some mists.

 Added a big doily to ground the 2 photos

and added a bow mostly because I adore bows.

Opposite color flowers at the bottom of the page

with lots more mists and dots.

 I did use different colored greens - because

I really love rick rack and wanted to use it where

the colors separated.

And I love that leaf and it made a great place

for a title.

 Those green colors also bounce off Ms. Amelia's shoelaces.

Love it.

Those alphas are Tiny Stickers and they come in real handy.

Ms. Amelia does love her goofy faces.

In the pink-totally

It is soooo good to be home.

After doing a ton of laundry and washing the car

I was able to get to my scrap table.

I haven't completed my travel album yet, waiting

on the new 4.5" rings I ordered because I blew up the 3" LOL.

However, I had this one completed before I left

and in the meantime yesterday, I completed FIVE pages.

Therefore, rolling with the 6x12 size 

because I love the paper and whacked it up

somewhere along the way, I

layered in some other papers, rick rack (which I love)

and some puffy stickers and transparency roll out the top of the page.

 This paper is actually from a baby girl pack

from Echo Park.

Looks like it can be used for big girls too.

 Got in that Heidi Swapp heart - almost done with that pack.

Love using stash.

Turned out very fun.

That was not the original photo I was going with

but after I layered all the papers

this pix just seemed to fit better.

Working in some wooden embellishments

I don't know about you but I have

a hard time with the large ones - and this

one is Shimelle's I believe and

its been waiting awhile for a home to be

adhered too.

I added some hearts.

That's also her date stamp I'm still working on

getting right LOL.

 The smaller ones are so bad - but finally

this one was going the right way.

 Doesn't that rick rack make you swoon.

I love rick rack - you'd think I'd have more of it.

Love that flower clip too.

Love the mushroom paper and really wasn't sure

what to do or where to go with it

so I reverted to my tried and true - which is

graphic style.

Amelia and I had fun trying to get a selfie

in with her unicorn headband

AND teddy bear.

All the important things that make a photo.

Studio Calico, Paper issues, shimelle and thickers,

and some Echo park peeking out of the mats.

Spring - for Off the Rails challenge

This is my page for the challenge at OTR for April.

It was a color palette and sketch challenge.

I have troubles with color palette challenges because I

never have the exact colors. Or all of the colors.

Which is why its a challenge.

Love these older papers by Jillybean soup. 

And if they don't have the exact colors - they have a facsimile thereof.

And you can't have spring without butterflies.

Nor is there not sprint without an adorable kidlet celebrating

that winter, long, cold, hard winter is history.

More or less - because this has been quite the fickle year.
