U feel lucky punk? Dueling Styles

We were having a blast on a thread over at ScrapNChat and Janet was trying to get something done. So I told her to fling me a photo and we'll both do it. Thus my challenge would get done. Nothing like trolling for challengers, lol!
So she sent me three. This one is Janet's and below is mine.

I told her the minute I saw these photos the title just zinged through my head. It couldn't be helped. Really. It was just too much fun. I had a blast and it was a challenge for me to get 3 pictures on a page.

So the challenge again is find a friend, acquaintance or even a stranger and scrap the same photo!
The waiting and wondering is fun. How are they gonna turn out????

I won an award..... woohooo!!!

This "award" is given to bloggers with fewer than 200 followers.  It is really just a nice way to recognize "up and coming" bloggers and help them get noticed.

Thanks Janet!!! I'm honored. Please hit the link and go see Janet.

The rules of this award are:
1.Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
2. Link back to the blogger who presented the award to you.
3. Copy and paste the blog award on your blog.
4. Present the Liebster Blog Award to 3-5 blogs with 200 followers or less that you feel deserve to be noticed.

5. Let them know they have been chosen.

It's time for me to nominate the blogs that I feel should be noticed:

It was a productive Saturday

I have written two hubs on our travels out west.  The next one on our leg deals with the ride from Cody, Wyoming to Buffalo Wyoming and the wonderful sights we encountered on the way.  You can read more about it here.
Our next leg was from Buffalo to Deadwood Wyoming that was the central spot for checking out the Badlands, Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse monuments. All were breathtaking in their own right. You can check out our story here.

Thank you for clicking on the links and I hope you enjoy and please remember to vote up.
I appreciate your support.

A date - 1931

This page started out with the flowers. Spellbinders can be well a pain in the ass. However, I was let in on a secret. Use wax paper when running through the Sissix. Especially if they're intricate.
So after the flowers popped all cool looking and the wax paper -
I wanna do something with the wax paper too.
The page started forming with papers from my Swirly Doo kit. And then I found the photo of Gram and Grandpop on a date. 31 was written on the back and I'm so running with that as a year. It actually makes sense because they didn't marry until 1933. They were 30-31 which is kind of old for back then.
The "1931" I traced from Basic Grey chipboard and cut them out. You may all laugh hysterically when I tell you that I had to break out the craft knife. I'm deadly with a craft knife.
And it ain't pretty. Peach and black colors make it look distressed. Love that.
But I love the picture more. It doesn't look like a first date because they are at ease with each other.
Grandparents dating boggles the mind doesn't it.

Whacky Wednesday at ScrapNChat....

It was fun and we again have the thread to prove it. It's a great way to make friends, talk trash, throw out dares, and get something done. Lucy and Annie in a fun photo - Annie getting her face washed. Love it. You'll be shocked to know that I used AUTHENTIQUE. They really should be paying me by now. Along with some Creative Cafe - that was a great concept and had some really cool stuff.

Then there is this page. Cutie-patootie Lou notwithstanding. And the fact that it was fresh from facebook this page felt forced. I had the title sort of picked out, and of course Cosmo Cricket road trip - I mean really that's a win-win. But it was like birthin' a baby getting it out.
So I gave up while I was ahead, because you just gotta know when to fold'm.

My little waterbug.............

Love this photo. She has a stick in her hand and its like the most fascinating thing in the world. Love it. Ack forgot the journaling. Sigh. Anyway love how it turned out. Websters is yummy. Used my punches. Love that. It didn't come together easy either. I know you're shocked. I was either over thinking or under thinking.
I'm torn as to which as I can certainly go either way.

So my nagging paid off because my favorite eldest son Nick's - Jill, the parents of my lovely waterbug finally has a blog. If you'd be so kind as to check it out I'd totally appreciate it. You guys are the best. Fit for Keeps Photography.

Busy today - getting my boobs smashed after the bloodsuckers did their thing yesterday.
DR appt next week. All my to-do's are ta-done.
Go me.
