Traveler's Notebook - Take the Scenic Route

National and State Parks rock and they are chockfull of information
on the history of the area.
Fort Clatsop is in the Lewis & Clark Nat'l Park and had
a "mockup" of the actual fort and outbuildings giving
a view into how life was back then.
Rugged.
The accommodations, while sparse to us, were like
a palace to them, especially after concluding their journey
across the United States.
The details of L&C notes are minute - down to drawings
of the peoples, animals, and tools used in their lives.

Mixed Media - Snapshots

Love hanging out at the South Jetty in Yaquina Bay.
There are working and pleasure boats hanging
around and of course the lighthouses.
But...
there are also the sand dunes, walking and biking paths
all waiting to be explored.
Of course, the golden hour makes it all look new and pretty.
Couldn't resist our shadows.
Tom couldn't resist the bunny ears.

Mixed Media - believe

This page was what Adele calls "use it up" page.
I had a stencil already messed up with modeling paste
for one page, so I use it up on an unsuspecting blank
page in my mixed media album.
So why not add "use it up" watercolors t as well.

And wa-la - instant page ready for a photo.
I used quite a bit of layering because
A. I love laying
B. It makes the photo rock
The stickers from Momenta (I think Hobby Lobby)
that "believe" was really tough to get out
of the packaging which was annoying.
And the rest just worked right in.
Love how it turned out.
