Birthday card "let life surprise you"

Well it all started out at HL when they had
the TH dies on sale.
And I decided to use them right away.
The background is the 3D gear embossing folder by TH
and I admit it is an odd choice, that actually kind
of works. That too was premade and
I really liked the colors with the catus colors.
which except for the card is TH papers.
The sentiment was already on it and
it's a surprise party - I figured it'd be a fun start.
On the inside at the same HL sale I bought the
bugs. I admit its an impulse buy and
of course made some that day.
The swirl is also TH die - an older one 665845,
he forgot to name this one. LOL.
The Happy Birthday is actually from Kaiser Kraft
-Coastline
if you ever see that collection.
Get it.
You will not be disappointed.

Homemade Love 1790 Album

It appears that I absolutely love this color combo
because my travelogue album is
almost exactly like this one.
Oh well.
😊
Used TH oxides and a lot of random stamping going on.
This is an album of unused, extra photos and just a
chance to use some new dies and stamps.

I love using bags for tags.

I have a lot of old product and that's okay.
No one in 100 years from now is not going to know
I didn't use the latest and greatest.
I have a lot to use up.

I also collect the bags some restaurants use
to put utensils in and
they make excellent tag holders.

The grands got to play at the Stony Pony with
their band.
How cool is that.

Got use that brooch.
A door shot from an old fort I traipsed through.

I also love using all different size pages.
and of course dimension.
It's a good way to use PL cards one doesn't know what to do with.

Don't you love that TH die frames all different shapes.
Worked out so well of my parents back in the day.
And my new TH die of sea life.
You'll be seeing more because I have another new die.

And here's the other new under the sea TH die.
Those starfish 😐 love them.
I have a lot of new dies.
❤️

Worked in some colorful doilies and fussy cut flowers
with that 3D frame another TH die using
watercolor paper and of course come oxides.

Another new die - is that hatch mark looking thing.
I did whack it down for this page.
OH and that other new TH die with the heart
and wild thread going around it.
I wanted the "thread".
😬
It was getting so bulky so I decided to call it a day.
and I love how it turned out.
Oh and those little flowers there??
It's $1.25 die cut from dollar tree.

And of course the back.
I seriously need to start some covers with new
color palettes.

Oh gee I have to create a new album 🤣

My Adventure Awaits Album-completed which means lots of pictures 😊

Had a blast making this album - especially the cover.
It's a 6x8 chipboard you can get at Hobby Lobby and they
have extra inserts in various forms.
I have to admit the page protectors are a nuisence.
LOL.
It came to be more of a travelouge which I love, but
I had to give myself permission to not worry so much
about chronological order because of the
way the project life pages fall.
Because some are 6x8, 4-3x4 etc.
Picture planning becomes involved and I take A LOT
of landscaped photos.
Which presents a problem in the 3x4 pages.
I did do a lot of "filler" pages because
A. I had some really cute papers to use.
Be. Because I wasn't taking as many photos
*gasp* I know - but when meeting up with people
I really didn't want to make it about a kodak moment
I wanted to make it about visiting with them.
C. And they're fun and sometimes you need them to be more creative.

Kept a lot of ephemera.
Which helps a lot when you can't remember
what city, state, place you were in.
Especially receipts and things that happened a long the way.

If you don't know - we live full time in our RV and
after we winter in FL we move around the country, and I'd like to say on a whim,
but hubby has it all planned out.
Mostly.

I also decided along with permission to not be chronological
but to not stress over photos not being "'perfect" because
that was never going to happen anyway
but scrap them anyway.

OOOOhhh
The page below is the first time I glued something on the outside.
I know quite the rebellion.
LOL.

I also gave myselft permission to not have to put
something on every photo although that
took a lot longer to get over.

Seriously.

My husband had an idea, I didn't think it was great til later,
to take a picture of our camp site
for future reference.
I didn't take one here, but I have other photos
of the campground and I
think I'll add it to the campground page later.
You'll see - it's fun.

I seriously have issues with this page protector
2x8, 2-4x4
Because the 2x8 doesn't want to stay in the slot and
it makes me crazy.

However, because I became bored with only the others
I decided to just roll with the crazy and suck it up.

I have also since I do landscape, concentrate on portrait
but if not, print a 4x6 and cut it down.
Follow me for more goofy tips.

Ah my best friend since jr. high.
Love that we can get together and SHE was the
one who remembered to take a picture.

Fun with the grandkids celebrating grandpop's birthday.

Celebrating holidays without photos
and giving chops to my hubby who roasts
our coffee on the road.
LIfe is great.
I also need to get better on the journaling part.
For some reason I also need permission to do mushy
and more poetic instread of just the facts.

More permisison to put cards in the 3x4 slot landscaped.
I am out of control.
🤣🤣🤣

Love making my own project life cards.

Chilling on using a lot of stuff on pictures.

If you got this far reading....we're taking a break for the next few.

Well except to point out the photo of my handsome
favorite eldest son and his girl Shyla.
Sooooo good as it's been awhile.

Tags come in soooo handy when one forgets
a. to take pictures.
b. one forgets to use a PL card
So tag to the rescue.

Here's a photo of our camp - actually on a  map
of the camp.

I love that flower photo.
Playing with my 50mm lens.
I took a challenge to use it for a month
and I have to say it's been interesting.
😬

Last page!!!
You made it!!!

So, originally, we were going to head west, but plans changed
and we're gonna stay on the east coast.
So I had an east coast album and west coast album planned.
So now I have Part 1 and Part 2 until I think
of something more clever.
It'll be awhile.
🤪
