My Adventure Awaits Album-completed which means lots of pictures 😊

Had a blast making this album - especially the cover.
It's a 6x8 chipboard you can get at Hobby Lobby and they
have extra inserts in various forms.
I have to admit the page protectors are a nuisence.
LOL.
It came to be more of a travelouge which I love, but
I had to give myself permission to not worry so much
about chronological order because of the
way the project life pages fall.
Because some are 6x8, 4-3x4 etc.
Picture planning becomes involved and I take A LOT
of landscaped photos.
Which presents a problem in the 3x4 pages.
I did do a lot of "filler" pages because
A. I had some really cute papers to use.
Be. Because I wasn't taking as many photos
*gasp* I know - but when meeting up with people
I really didn't want to make it about a kodak moment
I wanted to make it about visiting with them.
C. And they're fun and sometimes you need them to be more creative.

Kept a lot of ephemera.
Which helps a lot when you can't remember
what city, state, place you were in.
Especially receipts and things that happened a long the way.

If you don't know - we live full time in our RV and
after we winter in FL we move around the country, and I'd like to say on a whim,
but hubby has it all planned out.
Mostly.

I also decided along with permission to not be chronological
but to not stress over photos not being "'perfect" because
that was never going to happen anyway
but scrap them anyway.

OOOOhhh
The page below is the first time I glued something on the outside.
I know quite the rebellion.
LOL.

I also gave myselft permission to not have to put
something on every photo although that
took a lot longer to get over.

Seriously.

My husband had an idea, I didn't think it was great til later,
to take a picture of our camp site
for future reference.
I didn't take one here, but I have other photos
of the campground and I
think I'll add it to the campground page later.
You'll see - it's fun.

I seriously have issues with this page protector
2x8, 2-4x4
Because the 2x8 doesn't want to stay in the slot and
it makes me crazy.

However, because I became bored with only the others
I decided to just roll with the crazy and suck it up.

I have also since I do landscape, concentrate on portrait
but if not, print a 4x6 and cut it down.
Follow me for more goofy tips.

Ah my best friend since jr. high.
Love that we can get together and SHE was the
one who remembered to take a picture.

Fun with the grandkids celebrating grandpop's birthday.

Celebrating holidays without photos
and giving chops to my hubby who roasts
our coffee on the road.
LIfe is great.
I also need to get better on the journaling part.
For some reason I also need permission to do mushy
and more poetic instread of just the facts.

More permisison to put cards in the 3x4 slot landscaped.
I am out of control.
🤣🤣🤣

Love making my own project life cards.

Chilling on using a lot of stuff on pictures.

If you got this far reading....we're taking a break for the next few.

Well except to point out the photo of my handsome
favorite eldest son and his girl Shyla.
Sooooo good as it's been awhile.

Tags come in soooo handy when one forgets
a. to take pictures.
b. one forgets to use a PL card
So tag to the rescue.

Here's a photo of our camp - actually on a  map
of the camp.

I love that flower photo.
Playing with my 50mm lens.
I took a challenge to use it for a month
and I have to say it's been interesting.
😬

Last page!!!
You made it!!!

So, originally, we were going to head west, but plans changed
and we're gonna stay on the east coast.
So I had an east coast album and west coast album planned.
So now I have Part 1 and Part 2 until I think
of something more clever.
It'll be awhile.
🤪

Lynn, I just LOVE the way this album turned out! LOL on the page protectors, girl when I do my pocket pages some times I use Doodle bug and it has a weird (but kind of awesome) 2" by 12" slot. I thought was kind of awesome until it doesn't keep the 2" x 12" paper you cut and made all cute...grrr

Anyway, this is a great way to remember an amazing camping/road trip! I might have to do one for my next adventure in SC with my mom and sister.
Thanks for sharing,
Kimberly

Lynn, this is great! You must have some awesome adventures out there living on the road. My son is my adventurous child & loves to travel. Here's gone to several places this summer so far, North & South Carolina, Kentucky, & I don't know where else. He's also going to Maryland with me & at least one of his kids & he's got to go to Texas yet too.
