Traveler's Notebook - More tags and envelopes

As you know by now, I love tags and cards,
but I also love envelops.
I have some neat ones, big enough for a photo
or filler stuff.
The first tag came from Treasured Memories S/B store
and they had a "shop hop".
Sadly, they were the only shop and that just
had to be in my TN.

The yellow envelope has the journaling for the
shop hop as I was able to meet up
with my pals Holli and Brooke and had the
best time spending each other's money.

I drew that flower freehand.
Yes, I know...but it is a big deal for me because
I never thought I could draw and as long
as it doesn't have to be perfect,
I'm golden.
On the other page, we dined out at our favorite
steakhouse in town.
Prime.
We always have a great time with our
friends Wayne and Dara
(and don't they always take a great photo-
which is very annoying to us that don't)

And the rodeo.
So.much.fun.
And Lee Greenwood showed up out of the blue
and sang God Bless the USA.
This is our second year and it was a lot of fun.
Those riders are such athletes.
I kept the ticket and basically used it as a title
with some road signs.

I remembered to take pictures again and I
snapped this enthusiastic look of our friends
having pizza with us.
Dispite the look we did actually have a great time.
How about that "guest check" is that
a hoot or what.
No clue where it came from.
Sigh.
Actually, the photo is on a tag - not a page
because it really did need a page.

Tim Holtz
No idea on the road signs.
(I even got up to look)

Travelers' Notebook - first page!

I created this notebook a few months ago, along
with my Simple Moments TN that I
decided to use first and
finally completed a few weeks ago.
You can find it here.
We went to the Arcadia rodeo and it was fun times.
I saved the paper tickets and used it as
and introduction/title to leave
room for photos and some journaling.
Ah, playing with nuvo dots upper left
and they seem to work better squirting them on wax
paper, waiting for them to dry rather than
putting them directly on the page because alas,
squirting them correctly is an art form I don't seem to have
an abundance of LOL.
The atheticism of these riders is just flat
out amazing. I seriously cringed a few times they've
flown off the animal and landed hard.
They have to be hurtin' puppies after some of the landings
they make.
Just to refresh your memory and mine, here is the TN
I created.
Love that it's "rustic" looking.
Something different.

Not our first rodeo

But it was our first one at the Arcadia Rodeo.
It was a lot of fun.
A lot of nail biting.

Calf roping...............
I'm not sure if he missed the calf or not.
 Calf wrestling....
 Trick riders.....
 More calf roping........
 Bronco ridin............

Intermission as this gorgeous horse ran the field........

 More calf ropin............
Behind the scenes this bull did NOT want to go in the trailer.
It was fun trying to see grown men
make this bull do what he didn't want to do.
 My sweet BIL and SIL....
 Barrel racin..........

Behind the scenes bringing out the
Clydesdale.
 Bull ridin........
 Bull chasin.........
 More ridin..........
The final rider was injured and found
he was okay before we left.
 Clydesdales up close and personal.
I got to pet each one and they are sooooo sweet and BIG.
This baby is Storm and he was sooo soft and loved
to have his muzzle rubbed.
I could've done that all day.
 Then there is Kit......

 And Tally......

The horses had their initials on their harness
that I can't see so I'm guessing I got each one right.
They are Whispering Pines Clydesdales.....
