Belated Birthday Card featuring Gertrude

 Another birthday card for my granddaughter who 

loves the color purple.

Would you believe I have like a gazillion pounds of paper

in my stash and NOOOO shade of purple in it.

Soooo....TH crayons to the rescue along with the 

TH die Gertrude. 

Not too many moving parts to Gertrude.

I like that.

I also jacked the sentiment "Be flamazing" that

originated from one of TH's makers.

LOVE IT.

And since I hail from FL - the flamingo is perfect.

My friend Brooke gave me the paper and

I have no clue the mfg. but I love it.

Also fussy cut some flowers for depth.

More flowers on the inside with some stickles going on

and homemade enamel dots with some black stickles.

Oh and I used my handwriting on the sentiments.

I had a good day with the penmanship.

Woohoo!

Traveler's Notebook - Some new pages and Gertrude

 

As you can see I'm rocking the TH animal die cuts.

Meet Gertrude, you all know Theodore and Arthur.

I'm missing a lot of pieces on this one. 

I'll take it on one day and figure it out - but she would've

looked adorable with a Santa hat.

So this is a page of Holli and I rocking the s/b table

at her place - which is soooo much fun to "shop."

Anyway we try to get together as much as possible while I'm in town. 

Actually, we are bad at getting the photo in because we're too busy creating. The title is from a cutup Studio Calico project life card and some of them were cut a little too close but i worked. I drew those straight lines with a T-square. I know right.

 

This one was fun and using TH oxides and dies with bright colors was

made to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary.

However, did I think to take a picture on our anniversary when we

went out to dinner. Why no, no I didn't.

Therefore this was the next day.

 

Travelers Notebook - Using die cut "leftovers"

After putting together Arthur (which was fun) you can

"meet" Arther here I decided it would

be fun to use the cutout. 

I thought about adding sequins which would be fun

but I didn't have the necessary items to make that happen.

However, I did have a fun transparency that

I had for years that sort of defines the "eye"

that are hearts.

 I made the "coffee" tag awhile ago and it seemed

perfect to add to Arther - along with some more TH

ephemera.

And then there is Gertrude. Love how this cutout turned

out and added a bit of ephemera as well.

Very fun addition to my TN

and those sayings are extremely fun to use.
