The mountains at Big Bend

It was a pretty day with a bit of haze about it.

You won't be seeing them.

 This is a Jacal pronounced hay-KAHL.

Gilberto Luna built this for his rather large family in the 1900's 

and he lived there till he died at 108 years old.

4 wheelin' down the Old Ore Road

Big Bend National Park.

The sign said recommend 4-wheel drive.

Well I highly recommend 4-wheel drive - this road was

built by horse and wagon and its rough 

in quite a few places.

But the views were amazing and the ride fun.

 And this roadrunner - he was the best poser.
