Flashback Friday 3.26 Sluething

This week's challenge is actually 2 weeks ago challenge. It's make up time on FBF. Not that I meant to miss it, but I had a digi lo going on and lo and behold it didn't save and I had it completed all the way but the journaling (whining uncontrollably). lol. So..... I started over and did a regular page, because they don't disappear unless the dog eats it, and my Laverne is well fed. bwahaha! Back on track - the challenge was to do a lo about your favorite books or TV shows. While I liked TV, I LOVED LOVED LOVED to read. And Nancy Drew was my all time favorite hands down. I could lay around ALL DAY reading until someone made me get up and actually do something. My parents were soooooooooooo mean. bwahahaha! I'm still that way to this day, a book sends me into my own little world and short of an atomic blast, I hear, see and know nothing. lmao........

I downloaded some pictures of books that I read, not necessarily in order. Recollections 8.5x11 cardstock (so I didn't have to whack down my bazzill), My Mind's Eye, QK dragonfly, the ever present primas & bling, a vellum tag-MM I think, and M's and bazzill ribbon.

journaling: Nancy and I went on a lot of adventures together, solved mysteries, met new people and visited foreign countries. I accumulated and read ALL her books (don’t know what happened to them, hmmm....a mystery). Nancy had high standards, that looking back were impossible, because she excelled at everything. Of course she had morals, ethics and lots of courage. Not a bad example, really. Even though I knew I could never live up to the standard she was, didn’t stop me from trying. I found my talents were just a bit different from Nancy’s which made it all the more fun reading because well its fiction. And fiction rocks!
