A stamped, inked, crayoned, stenciled Album Cover

Yesss, another one.
I can't resist.
This was stamped with no rhyme no reason
except I liked them.
Similar to the last one, I glued 2 thin chipboard
together 5.5x9.5.
Then with some rustic wilderness oxide and stain,
and kitch flamingo and picked raspberry oxides
using the slide and scoop method
I managed to get it all over the gesso.

Because I didn't want to be lame
and do the same thing inside
I decided that stamping a glass jar
and filling it with flowers would work.
Using Tim Holtz crayons I sort of watercolored
the flowers and jar
and then swished some vintage photo
all over - to antique it.

The second page was a new stencil for the winged
creatures and TH dots.
Using the spray and splat method.
Faded jeans and picked raspberry.

The guts are comprised of scraps and leftovers from
other albums.

I love to use paper bags in my albums.
They just fun to tuck a bunch of really cool stuff in.

I want to have a couple of different albums going on.
You know I have the "travel" album that chronicles are
exciting life on the road, but I also
other photos: like mostly the grandkids, or any photo
that I feel like scrapping using
 a different approach.
Keeps things interesting.....

Mini album made from scraps

Created this little mini album from a ton of scraps I have in my scrap bag. It keeps it down to a mild roar. LOL. The cover is really skimpy chipboard-two glued to make it less skimpy and then stamps and archivel inks and distress inks. I gesso'd the cover and liked it.

On the inside originally turned out really ugly so I painted over with white enamel paint and started over again and decided to keep it simple.

Not sure how I'm gonna use this.

It's just a fun way to use scraps and keep them from being so overwhelming.

Not sure how I'll use it or maybe I'll gift it.

St. Patrick's Day cards for the grands

Did them mostly alike because I really don't have
enough St. Patty's day stuff for 10 different cards and
I kinda of enjoy making them alike yet somewhat different.
😂

Used some tissue paper in the background and I really
like the scrunch - gives it some texture.
I used the Tim Holtz 3D die cut for the clover and it
also has the heart on it too, sooooo might
as well get a 2-fer. 😊
I got to  make them pretty, although the look pretty in white.

I used oxides for the clover; rustic wilderness and fossilized amber.
It didn't quite turn out how I envisioned but it works.
That rainbow die cut is Sissix.
It's a really cute set I use quite a bit.
Itty bitty hearts and stars from a Tim Holtz thinlits hearts
and quickutz for the stars.

The inside Happy St. Patrick's Day is stamped in
green along with a few stamped clovers.

Easter cards for the Grands

I decided to take a different approach to the cards
which is why I jumped to Easter and
totally forgot about St. Patricks Day.

I decided that I wouldn't do the cards like an assembly
cookie cutter line and making them all the same.
I KNOW!
However, I do love a good challenge and I was giving
myself enough time because I started day before yesterday
and finished up today, when I had a month or so......
💓

So while trying not to do cookie cutter thing I did  a "sort of " alike
yet different. I found I didn't have an inordinate amount
of bunnies in my stash soooo...there are some
similarities.
I also wanted them kind of fun and goofy and adorable.
😬

So using Tim Holtz dies, stencils, stamps, crayons, distress
and oxide inks.
Dina Whakely stamps on the birds pretending
to be chicks in the card below.

Those hopping rabbits make me laugh.
The pink card is prima stamps and I adore the set.
The carrot is TH.

I also had a birthday stamp with a bunny in a basket flying high
which I thought was funny - using watercolor papers
and inks and oxides to color I love that it's different.
Actually, the watercolor ink look going on were all premade
papers done just waiting to be used.
And I'm proud to say I busted my stash and have to
create more.
Ah gee......
The little trees are quickutz.

I did make a second little girl, because  it
so adorable the first time, and, I have 2 granddaughters-sooo
it was a perfect fit, I even matched hair color, the rest of the grands
are boys. And yeah, some of these cards are kinda girly
I think it all work.

Yeah they're pretty much girly.
I love them though it and was really fun to create
different looking cards.
Except for the insides - they look like the inside above
only different colors and shapes.
Mostly.
Most of the papers is a really old Dear Lizzy 6x6 pad.

Playing around with stamps, oxides and crayons

When I'm in a creative mood and have no photos
to scrap and journaling to write
I like to keep the juices flowing by messing around.
I get a bunch of stamps and pull out whatever mediium
that rocks my mojo and let'r rip.
So the leaves are a cling stamp and I used oxides.
I used a multitude of crayons and then rubbed vintage photo
distress ink over them.
It covers a lot of sins and make things stand out.
I also traced the leaves with a graphite pencil and did a
scribble thing I saw on line only it looked way better when
they did it.
I'll probably fussy cut these leaves.
This flower stamp annoys me because no matter how
I stamp it just doesn't all come out.
I use a rubber mat, a brayer, and glass.
Anyway, it looks really cool when using the oxides
by doing the tap and scrape method as
nothing is perfect.

Crayons on the stamped flowers.
I decided to not rub distress ink over these
and I do love that method, but I can always add it.

My friend Holli is the proud owner of these stamps
and we get together and crop and swap so I
always stamp a few to take home with me, actually
I do several stamps mostly because the first
few don't come out right, but I have a stash because
if it really looks fun and cool why
not use them often.

These were done with the crayons.
As you can tell I love the crayons.

They'll be used for journaling cards, embellishments, etc and the
bonus is they're premade. It'd be fun to build a page
around them. Just sayin...

I wish I could tell you the colors but I pull out all that I own
and after I use one I toss it on the pile and then...
well...no names of the crayons.

All was done on watercolor paper.
