It all started innocently enough with this book.
It's thick.
It has lots of pages.
It lays flat.
However....................
I made the pages with scraps and
just kept layering it on.
And the pages became soooooo fat and full
(there are only 6 pages)
and of course I did them back to back
which resulted in these pages
and I LOVE THEM but---
They were soooo thick that continuing on
with the album would have resulted in a hot mess
So......
I pulled them out and using some twine
bound it into it's only little mini
album.
It was fun to do and I gave myself
all kinds of leeway to do fun stuff - I actually
hand drew that emu.
LOL.
It became fun and I put some ancestry stuff in there
like my parents wedding notice in the newspaper that
managed to make it through time.
And the photo above in the newspaper when
my mom was 2nd in a local beauty pagent.
Of course the tear was on my mom's picture.
It was random photos that I printed extra either
because the size was wrong in the first go round
or it didn't fit anywhere else.
The back is boring and gonna stay that way.
I love making these random albums
because in my Travel Logs I do pocket pages
and while they're exciting
there is only so much you can do and I
really love getting carried away,
