Christmas Cards for the Grands

Except for these 4 I decided to do different cards
instead of doing them all the same.
I do love this 6x6 paper packet by Dare to be Artzy.

Then I found a really really good sale somewhere
on the road at a Hobby Lobby and
practically bought them out.
It was mostly Christmas stuff which is unusual
for me - and I thought if I start now,
which I did,
I can use every single one of my new dies in some fashion,
which I did.
The picture on the die set also showed a car that I
found as I was making this car did not
come with the set.
That kinda bummed me out because it looked even cuter.

I have to admit is took me a minute to figure these 2
dies out. LOL. Sad very sad.
The dies are Sissix with a couple of Spellbinders tossed in.

This house is actually for a birthday party die cut set
but it turned out really cool for Christmas.
And I found some polka dotted vellum in my stash.
And I did go crazy with the white paint splatters
using the ole toothbrush method that
can get mighty messy.
But worth it.

Then I went nuts with the toothbrush method again
using Nuvo Shimmer powders.
golden sparkler and solar flair.
love them.

Did I mention I also have Christmas Stamps.
This is Tim Holtz.
And then I remembered I have those 3D texture dies
from TH and gasp - they could pass for
snowflakes if one uses their imagination.
Stormy Sky distress ink.
I'm thinking the eyes look creepy and
the hat is homemade and the
mustache is from another die
and the branches come from Oliver.
And the circles came from my circle scissors
as my dies wouldn't have worked and
my punches were too small.

More TH stamps and using his
crayons and a white gel pen for Santa's hat.

Another card using the Daring to be Artzy papers
and tags that are fun.

and more white toothbrush splatters.

And fussy cut trees from one of the papers.
Now I just have to figure out who gets what.

Thanksgiving cards for the grands.

Lost my mojo for awhile so I haunted the web and
found a card similar to mine to make 10 cards.
Circles are your friend when they're critters.
Also I did almost use an entire 6x6 Pebbles paper pad.
Now onto Christmas. LOL.
I have way too many Christmas dies not to use.
😬
I did use watercolor paper for the leaves and then used
TH crayons and in looking back I should've
used the oxides to get more vibrant colors.
Hwoever, their kids. ❤️

1790 Travelogue Album

Love how the covers turned out.
It was a stampathon with ink tossed in.
There's a 1790 in there somewhere.

Rolled with a title page.
I use a mix of paper in my stash-the camera paper is Bo Bunny.
Who doesn't love Bo Bunny.
Somewhere around I found the "explore" sticker and there's
others in the pack with different words - it was at a nat'l park somewher
...sorry lol.

Something different this year was my hubby's
idea - to take pictures of our rig in the site at the
campgrounds and write a blurb if we
like it or never return.

It's always fun exploring and finding
whale tales on a mountain.

I do try to keep pamphlets also.

We don't have coffee a lot so I try to keep
tabs on ones we do get so we can return.

I did do some filler pages every now and then
to break out from the PL pocket pages.

I use envelope every now and then for extra journing.
That one happens to be blank 🤣

Also I purchased a different brand of inserts
so I can do 6x8's. It's a refreshing to have that choice.

Oh I also keep menus and receipts too.

I did have issues with adhering embellishments
on the outside of the inserts.
I finally gave up and stapled them.
I need to figure something out - but nothing I have
worked.
Shout out if you have a glue that works.

I also keep lables and tags too.

I found this sticker at a resturant we dined at
and won't be going back.

I use my sea animals alot.

I ran out of photos *gasp* I know.
But I try to use them to tell a story and these
are also bunched by State and by dates.
Dates are more or less LOL.

And the back.
These were oxides and I did add gel over top
because my book is near the kitchen counter
and sometimes it gets a little wet.

So I love how it turned out.
