Baby boy 4x4 album

For my new great nephew.

I love how it turned out.

Little man is supposed to be born on the 21st of FEB

I'm on the 18th and my dad (great grandfather)

on the 20th it'd be great to hit his.

Fingers crossed.

So I put the 21 in there just in case. 

Maybe I'll add 18 and a zero LOL.

Busted some stash - using really old 

Basic Grey.

I loved Basic Grey.

One is an Aurora 6x6 pad and the other

I don't recognize and lost the title page LOL.

Little bit of TH in there. I found a milk top from KY

which is where the little man will be born.

The baby stickers are from Paper Studio.

And bits and bobs from other miscellaneous stuff

and punches.

And a sticker book from Kaisercratft about dad.

Also whipped out the die cuts, fussy cut and drew my own stuff.

I alternated on the 2x2s with embellishments

and photos that can be used and all

can be rearranged.

Had fun with the moon die.

I also did repeat some of the stickers which

makes the album well an album

that flows.

The last of my 4x4 albums that at first I had a 

love hate relationship with because

of the 2x2 page protectors.

I don't know little man's name or initials which can be 

added at anytime.

There's also a baby blanket in the works and a run for baby stuffs.

Traveler's Notebook - Last pages of the book

I love how these pages turned out. I had the bag in there first

with the Tim Holtz card tucked in AND premade the front of the envelope

soooooo..............

I need to figure something out.

I love this sticker of the USA that my pal Holli gifted me 

and it was perfect because it's big and needs its own page.

I couldn't figure out the journaling but again

TH to the rescue and they say it way better than me.

 Love that camera.

 Mostly because I wanted to use my new printer

I did this "collage" of fruit and veggies from the u-pick.

 I wanted the name of the grove on the that bowl

not thinking that it may not be the best surface for that.

But I like it anyway.

In the making of the page on the left - I pulled one of the watercolor
pages I did in my "watercolor album". It totally fit well
with the last page of this notebook. 

 This is the last 2 pages of the book - because (see below) it

it is quite fat and cumbersome.

So mostly these sticker words say it all and I got to use

my new stamps from HL "bucket list" and Kellianne stickers.

Love how it turned out and I have the other TN I premade

and decided I wanted to use this one first.

Baby Girl Album 6x6 Size

I used the 8x8 Paper Studio Baby Girl paper pad and love how

it turned out. Really Really cute stuff and some

to fussy cut.

 

I enjoy doing staggered pages and all photos can be tucked

in and under. Keeping it simple as it is a gift.

Also trying not to be real bossy - as this can be used anyway

my great niece would like doing it.

Love the thread and doily and a really neat tag

tucked in that can be used for

either photos or journaling.

There is a baby blanket in the works but

it does not match color-wise.

Quite the rebel on this one LOL.

I do want to get some ribbon and tie a bow

on the rings.

Drives me crazy not to have one, however,

in looking at it, it actually doesn't look bad without the bow

and maybe because it won't get in the way when looking through the book.

We also toured the Air Force Museum

That had every plane and then some under it's roof.

Including some Russian MG's.

So there's the infamous blue tag, that was made for

the previous page.

 It works here which is just as well as I didn't

want to re-write the journaling because 

sometimes you only get it right once.

Why tempt fate.

 I used the map of the museum as my

'page' because it was cool and why not.

And there's my title with popped up jets.

Love that they had fun with the planes and

the faces they had.

It was already quite busy so I kept everything

to a minimum.

I broke out the ole die cut machine for that eagle.

And don't it work perfect. 

That is placed strategically on the Arizona State

from The Paper Studio.

46 more to go.

Project Life page - That Day

Love the USA state stickers 

from the Paper Studio and this Texas state

was perfect for this layout.

Going to Dealey Plaza was interesting and fascinating

at the same time.

It's sad it had to be commemorated at all

but it's a wonderful memorial.

Also used Studio Calico, & AC alphas that I wished

I bought another package of.

Shopping trip.

Watercolor Christmas Cards

Everyone should have theirs now - if not

no peeking 🌲

Nothing like waiting until the "almost" last minute

before deciding what to make.

I have a slim to none freestyle artistic bent

so this was really what I consider a gutsy move for me.

(And shock upon shock I didn't have a tree stamp)

So the first tree always came out well,

the small middle tree isn't too bad but that third

tree - not sure if it was the angle or my

my hand was in a strange position, but it just came out goofy.

Every.single.time.

BUT bonus ding ding ding, all those flowers were leftover stash

that sat around forEVER and now

they aren't - they're tree toppers.

Love to make fun titles and this photo was perrrfect!!

Got some mixed media going on and I may

have even lifted my ban on mists - Heidi Shine pink and gold.

Only way to roll.

 Got a bit of Nuvo dots going on...

and doodled around the page.

 I really wondered when I would use a title like this.

This paper is very fun, I love the bright colors.

I changed up the size because of the size

of the photo which is 3.5x5 it stands out more.

 I kept the embellishments simple and

backed everything on navy blue card stock.

Adorable photo of Lou and I love the jaunty tilt of his hat.

Black on White & Black

I hope everyone had a wonderful

Easter celebration!

We did and I have put together a PL page,

and hopefully I'll get it photographed tomorrow for your

viewing pleasure.

Love how these photos came together and it became

a drive-by page as Easter edged closer

I had some chores that need doing so the page

stayed on my desk and as I passed by

it sort of came alive.

 I loved the photos on black but I became bored with layering

if you know what I mean but the photos popped.

But I felt the black needed something, so I know Soaphouse Mama

and many others layer big mats on a 12x12

and this turned out perfect- and I used washi tape to 

bump it off the background page.

Favorite youngest son loves his job and his truck

and I couldn't be more proud.

After I put this together, I realized that I added

stars and some milky stars

that he does most of the driving at night.

Wish I could say that was deliberate on my part but alas,

the photos just looked good on black. LOL.

And yellow with black is always a good call.

Layers and Ledger paper

I started THIS page with 2 photos.

It's been awhile since I used multiple photos and didn't

I have fits with this.

I went through at least 9419471347193471098 different

papers, including transparencies AND mats.

 The photos are heritage - and originals and not 

really good photos.

I probably in hindsight could've made them B&W

but where would the fun be in that.

 So I ended up using kraft and beige because 

seriously nothing went.

(I have no clue on the ledger paper - its THAT old)

Including black - black works on everything

except these 2 pictures.

LOL.

 I made 2 big tags after tossing envelopes around

that looked stupid.

And more Tim Holtz that I just kept tossing on.

well because I couldn't stop really.

And I actually used Heidi Swapp Tea mist because seriously

what more can go wrong.

And the TITLE. 

Good grief - that was serious overthinking going on.

I had a pack of kraft alphas with white letters

and it would've been perfect had it all the letters- but nooooo

not enough E's.

I know you're surprised.

So I got a small square punch - punched out and then

used my hero arts alpha and started

doing the letters in white which looked dumb

because the white wasn't white enough.

So I changed it up to black - and well its funky enough

to go with the page.

A flipping Heritage page - that I'm ON.

That's just wrong on many levels, but here we are.

So mom and I had similar outfits

and while I was cruising through the way-back

box there they were side-by-side.

I'm 20 years old there (I think) and mom would be 40.

We totally rocked the outfits.

The way-back box is magical.

Everyone should have one.

This was fun to do.

What's ET without the bike and moon.

Tucked my journaling into that little pocket.

 Used a bit of the packaging technique.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but most is covered up.

Yay!!!

This is a photo of my favorite eldest son meeting ET.

He looks amused.

So back in the 80's there was a radio station Q105

which had the ever popular Q-Zoo.

They decided to host an ET  party downtown

and I thought it would be a good idea

to stand in line with a 7 month old to have his photo

taken with ET.

(I think my pal Emily went with-not sure).

Anyway, we did have a great time- Nick was a 

great baby that stayed awake for his photo op

and those are Scott Shannon's hands holding him up.

Studio Calico, envelop-paper studio & bike spare parts.

Working with 6x12 size page

this worked really well because I had this paper that

was a twitch smaller than 6x12, so I added

that little extra with a matching paper and stitched it on.

 Is that ice cream cone not adorable from

HL - Paper studio I think.

And the paper is working well with the photo.

 I really love how it came out and the doily is perfect

foil to make the photo pop.

 The white enamel dots bring that color over to right of the page.

The wood word (say that fast) is also Paper Studio

while the paper is Basic Grey, Studio Calico heart, enamel dots

and the EK Success word stickers.

Got some more grandkids pix comin' up - I know you're excited.

And used my new software (lots of hoop jumping) but I gots a watermark on my page.

Mixing a bunch of greens

And I'm not apologizing

because it seemed to work.

I wanted this paper because it wasn't in your face

and I had the shamrock paper which was.

For some reason I whacked a chunk out of the background

paper so the only way to use it was to

cut into 6x12 size.

Love it.

 I fussy cut the shamrocks out because they

were totally adorable and

just used a strip as an anchor.

 The title came in a PL card (again with that I know)

Do you find you get on a streak with something?

Anyway I first cut the words in strips

and it didn't really ring my chimes so I fussy

cut each letter.

Love that result.

I also got to use a bunch of enamel dots too.

Woohoo stash going down.

Made some simple cards for the grands from

The Paper Studio.

Nothing fancy, little fussy cutting on some and

cotton tails.

Now all I need to remember to do is mail them.
