The Easter bunny came

Used this really old paper from Studio Calico and

that dictionary transparency.

Don't the transparency make you swoon. It does me and that's

the last of it.

Love that boy/girl stamp from Kenner Road.

Kids are getting older now but that won't stop me

from using a "young" stamp.

 AND A BOTTLECAP.

Told you so.

The colors just happened to work.

I can do hard things

Love that its on a card and that it landed

in my box of stuff.

This is my crossfit box and we had a competition

with another box during the CF Open.

This page sat around awhile because I couldn't make up 

my mind. I know this shocks you.

So underneath everything is flooring boards that

I thought went well.

And then I stamped bricks on it. 

And then I tried to whitewash them.

I found I don't do small painting well. At all.

So I decided to whitewash everything.

And there you have it.

One for the books

I loved books when I was a kid and it

followed me into adulthood so

when I got this from Studio Calico couldn't 

help but use it.

Love switching off to the 6x12 size.

(I wanna try 9x12 but need to find page protectors)

 Of course I cut the big tag into the books and title.

I love the owl peekin' out.

Wise ole owl.

 When I was in HL the other day Tim Holtz had these

bottlecaps. I KNOW! 

I love bottlecaps and you'll be seeing a lot of them.

What does it have to do with books?

It matches LOL.

But of course Sam loves books.

Printed a tri-photo photo

And say that 3 times fast. 

Instagram photo.

In the print section in Aperture, there is a choice to do 3 photos

in sequence that I thought was cool. 

It kind of gives you a taste of the photos or in my case 

actually focuses on the best part of the photo.

I printed it on 8.5x11 photo paper and trimmed the sides evenly

since one was wonkier than the other.

Yes, Nick I used Aperture because Lightroom is making me crazy.

I wanted a page that was a bit different than what I posted on my blog 

earlier on boondockin' and use some of the landscape

photos that I take in abundance but don't scrap much.

Why? I don't know.

If you've never been to the Great Smokey Mtns - you really need to

put it on your to do list.

October Afternoon is the background paper from my Studio Calico kit

as well as that tree trunk bole. I'm kinda proud how I worked that in.

Scraps of simple stories made it in there.

The alpha is deja view with some quickutz going on.

I used a background stamp that came out kindof lame and

covered most up.

And I made that tag. I KNOW.

When you're mojo up and leaves

Had a breakthru today and sometimes when the mojo

packs its bags and heads out I 

haunt the galleries, videos and old mags that I still have

and then when that doesn't work....

I go back to the basics.

First layout of 2014

was a long time in coming. It laid around taunting me for a long long time.

Why?

I don't know.

Connor and his stuffie are totally adorable and I think I just wanted to savor it a bit more.

I had the papers, design laying about for awhile on my desk. It was a driveby page and I love those - however, they usually don't take this long.

So I decided get this baby rolling just by stamping a bit of background and then adhering the main things down. After that I poked around to get the bits and pieces from various baskets where those bits and pieces live and they just seem to come together.

The majority of everything is Studio Calico pattern papers, project life do-dads (and I just got January's kit today) can't wait to dive in. However, there are some things I need to do before I can get rolling - so I'm just fondling and oogling in the meantime. Sissix die, Dear Lizzy frame, bottlecap I found at a flea market, and a couple mfg's I can't remember. Sadly.

I love all the pink and I believe that this was for the battle of the boobs to bring awareness and raise money for free mamogram. So I added more pink :)

Studio calico fits the bill, along with some thickers, cosmo cricket and a bottlecap I found in a flea market.

3~2~1! Since the majority of workouts are timed - this is the way its called out so of course that had to be in the title, but I love the look of determination on her face as she attempts to pick up the weight. She has the stance right - just needs to move to the middle. I'm thinking that would've tipped the balance.
