Another challenge in da bag!!! with my pal Brooke

I have to admit that I am really really REALLY enjoying

these challenges - totally out of my comfort zone.

Both ways for sure.

BROOKE'S CHALLENGE TO ME:

I really love the sketch and again, took it right down the middle.

There are 3 PP in there Tim Holtz papers and for

my critter a TH die. 

A bunny.

I must've bought at least 5 bunnies this year.
 As for the glitter well I decided to keep it really low key.

😂

I had to use an animal and this was just too much fun.

And it was a new never used die.

Quirky.

The photo is a drive by of a ghost town on I-10.

Love how it turned out and I'm okay

with someone in the future wondering why there's 

a rabbit with a glitter carrot.

Framed the journaling strips AND used the frame from cutting out the tags on the corner of the pic

Throwback Thursday CK Sept 2011 Style

 I love that they used to post sketches of their pages.

I love how the big photo was used as a background.

I love this as much now as I did then. I think I may have lifted this however, it was a while ago I doubt I could find it. And it almost looks heritagy.

And this is such a cool heritage page. Love the lace and pink and blue colors.

Love the edge punching going on and the graphic look of this and the layers.

Very fun page. love the different textures.

Spring - for Off the Rails challenge

This is my page for the challenge at OTR for April.

It was a color palette and sketch challenge.

I have troubles with color palette challenges because I

never have the exact colors. Or all of the colors.

Which is why its a challenge.

Love these older papers by Jillybean soup. 

And if they don't have the exact colors - they have a facsimile thereof.

And you can't have spring without butterflies.

Nor is there not sprint without an adorable kidlet celebrating

that winter, long, cold, hard winter is history.

More or less - because this has been quite the fickle year.

The Crop was a total blast

- we had so much fun.

Laughing and singing to the oldies.

Trash talking.

Borrowing supplies, helping with designs

and embellies and

catching up with each other.

This is the first kit I yanked out. I thought it was good

for the sketch challenge.

 This is the sketch.

I did love all the laying and arrows.
I did however, take a few liberties - and flipped it.

 And all the layering fun I loved - I left out as

I had a really hard time covering up the photo.

It was fun to piece it together.

I do love the result and the journaling is on the back.

And its another vacation photo-DONE!

I know you're as surprised as I am.

My friend Brooke won the sketch contest - a well deserved win - and it

was a total win for our table. WOO HOO!!
