A bit of heritage going on

I love heritage photos and I haven't been messing
with them as much mostly because I had
believed I had done them all.
Silly me.
I have always loved print paper, i.e., dictionary, newspaper, etc.
And this one has a purple tint.
How cool is that.
And nothing says heritage like lace, leaves and butterflies.
If you look in the upper right corner and lower left
I used some ranger mists I've had forever
and used the leaves as a stencil.
Gave the page a bit of an embrace doncha think?
Anyhoo, rooting around in the wayback box I found
this gem. My grandpop, with
his youngest sister and his daughter.

Back to school page - 3rd grade

Found these prepunched starts in my stash and
that "flair" is from M's dollar stash
So easy when things are premade - however, keeping
them and hunting them down can be more annoying
than just punching them out.
Tossed some ranger mists about and included
stamping on the page.
I'm trying to use more stamps since I have so many
and this one seemed perfect- and
I love the 3D look its having here.
Did some paper tearing and added some washi.
I have a lot of washi I need to use too and
for some reason I have a hard time getting on a page.

Used some mists

Love that the title already had splats on it and it
fit this page nicely.
And the old library card makes me swoon.
And these feathers in combo with the feathers is very cool.
I used some ranger mists on the background as well as
some stamps to give some dimension.
(Trying to get those stamps in there - I have a ton)
This was a fun page to do and I love the colors.
Doesn't that yellow door make you swoon?
Anyhoo, Annie and Owen headed back to school with
mixed excitement.
They love learning but had such a great summer
it's hard to get back to the swing of it.
