Travelogue Vol 1

Another one in the books while on the road - it's just getting
way too fat.
It has also come to my attention that maybe I should name
my albums.  I do name the albums in photos so I can can track
by state and this one is named
The Aspen Trees in Bloom Tour
because hubby wants to see them.
I'll be adding that to the album cover.

I got bored with using the same page protectors - so I
purchased some different ones.
At first this 12 2x2 page baffled me until
I found those cute calendar 2x2s - coming
from a baby 6x6 pad I purchased.
How cool is that.

I also purchased some 6x8 page protectors but I
really didn't use them much.
I need to change that.

I also love making my own project life cards.

Keeping ephemera - such as the maps they give
you at the campgrounds so you can find your spot.
Also has lots of cool information too.

New baby grandson ❤️
And in that envelope is a recipe for pickled
beets in my dad's handwriting.

Favorite youngest son was married in Vegas.
Like mama like son.
🤣

We had a bit of mishap on the road when our tow bar broke.
It could've been so much worse- we were blessed
because we were only a couple hundred miles from
the Blue Ox headquarters where we were invited
to come hook up spend the night and left
with a brand new tow bar - free of charge.

Sturgess was fun - and we went off biker season because
that would've been a hot mess.
OH and that South Dakota PL is actually their state flag.

My hubby purchased a new purse for me.
I love it!

And sometimes the photos need to go in sideways.
I am learning to do portrait instead of landscape all the time.
Learning curve.
OR
I print them 4x6 and most of them look okay trimmed to 3x4.

And then favorite youngest son managed to
get flung over a the handlebars of a scooter and
ended up in the hospital with a traumatic front lobe
brain injury.
He is doing very well now.
Still needs rehab - but he's alive.

Love cruising the towns and coast and take lots of picures
every now then a cool lighthouse or deer
jumps in the camera lens.

I also found the 12 2x2 page protector
can hold a bunch of pictures
that keep the bulk down to a mild roar.
Mostly.

Favorite youngest son, while recovering came with
his wife to camp with us in Oregon (that was scheduled
to happen the day after he had his accident.
We had a lovely celebratory time.
We did walk a couple miles each day around the marina
and it was such a wonderful time.
Chatting.

Because Coos Bay was special I decided
to end that part of the album because
we motored on up to Waldport and they
went home for more recovery.

Love how this album turned out and I am
in the process of creating a new one.
I love this size - it's easy to roll with when we're
on the road.
Hopefully HL will keep making these chipboard albums.
I just need to find different inserts to keep
it from getting boring and stale.

Goodies - New goodies

From my pal Holli.
It's hard to get new product because we're always moving
and a lot of places don't take any deliveries.
So.....
when it goes to our mailing address - it stays there
until we are in a place where I can get packages.
The same applies to videos.
NO WATCHING VIDS - NOT enough gigs on the WIFI.
So....I'm totally behind in ALL TH vids.
Boo.

Anyway, my pal Holli keeps me up to date and
sends me prizes.
So blessed to have her as a friend.
Below is a filler sheet using my new stuff.
She also die cut a bunch of stuff for me that I don't have
and made some tags.

My DH loves his coffee.
He roasts our own coffee which is sooooo good.
So this is so perfect for us and
it was fun to make.

Documenting hookups with friends and family - Update

I actually completed this album and didn't realize how close I was
when I made this post, so I am adding the last 2 pages.

----------------------0----------------------

Love hooking up with family and friends on the road.
Journaling on whatever is available - like receipts especially
if one wants more photos involved.
Had a lot of fun at the race track.
We are not really good at betting but it was fun to watch.
State parks are your friend and are chockful
of history and the parks are beautiful.

So when in NJ seafood, friends, family, and pizza.
Once you eat NJ pizza nothing else compares.
Just sayin...

Little cuties that are growing like weeds
so it's good to check in and hang with them.
And of course, getting photos with rigs in them
with the name of the RV park is a plus
in case we want to return.

Love exploring all the nooks and crannies wherever
we land, hang, and take photos.

Since my kidlets live in different states
it's alway fun to catch up with them.

My pal sent me those die cut leaves and love love love them.
💖

We got to hand with the adorable cutie above and
love it and him.
Our great nephew.

And the last page - sitting on Jeanette's pier
watching all the fisherman watching their lines to
see if they get a bite.
The excitement was overwhelming.
LOL.
I have a new album in the works.
I am "making" the cover " for the "album"
that will hold the 6x8 page protectors.

TN- So lovely

Of course I have to document my "new space."
It was a long time in coming for sure.
A lot of back and forth on what would fit,
how it would work, and how it would look.
In on of the kits, I got a pad of these
cute little houses, almost like
sticky notes and what better way to denote
that the RV/Coach is now our home.
A home to roam on wheels.
LOL.
Love how the page and the space turned out.
A lot of purging and rearranging went on.
I am totally thrilled with "my space."
And have created some
new pages.
It's going to be so exciting to document our adventures.
and, figure out how to do it with the supplies
at hand. That was trial and error, for sure.
I have a lot less to choose from now and won't
that bring out a creative streak.
I hope.

Scrappy time!!!

Woohoo!!! Finally....
We are settled in NJ and hanging with
friends and family.
So here's my set up from a different direction.
It's kinda tight but even at home with a drawing desk
I end up with space this size anyway LOL.
I converted some pix to B&W because I thought they'd look cooler.
Love the pix of me and Amelia. It was also when I decided
I seriously needed a new 'do.
Trying for a photo where Connor was "catching" the water.
Didn't quite line it up right. My bad.

Little miss spent the night in the RV with us
and it was fun!
We got to stay up late and watch TV and everything.
Converted the selfie of Connor and me to B&W
mostly because it really looked better that way.
Our trip to Booth Bay and Hendricks Head lighthouse.
I used station in the title because I ran out of alphas LOL.
This is the second time we were able to dine at Ken's so
I kept the menu and thought it would make a great background.
As explained before, we were too hungry to worry about
"before" photos. Bwahahaha.
The Shakers were really interesting and I loved the
photo on their tickets and decided that it should be
center stage as a title.
They are an interesting bunch, however, they
are on the verge of extinction due to practicing celibacy.
Pink Fresh with some Studio Calico, Tim Holtz
and diecuts and stamps thrown in.
