Lake Mead-Nevada

Since it was right next door the Valley of Fire
we zipped down the roads and found
this beautiful blue water.
Tucked in between a couple of mountain ranges.
If you look below the dark ground, that white
is where the water level used to be.
Sadly, a lot of drought is to blame and it is crazy low.
It is a man made lake formed by the Hoover Dam.
(We may go see the dam but we did on our honeymoon eons ago).
They had some lovely camps throughout the area
some we might squeeze into.
And the long and winding road out.
You're welcome.
