Traveler's Notebook - Cousins

Got to meet up with my cousin and we had a wonderful

time tripping down memory lane and doing

the ancestry.com thing.

So I made the title using the same papers that

I used for the photo mat.

It was kinda bland so I took a gelato that happened

to match.

Who knew.

 Broke out some primas and recollections flowers.

 I mostly used stuff I had already die cut or punched out.

How fun is that.

AND I cutout those circles by hand.

Gasp*faint*thud*

Lots of journaling.

Love how it turned out - very girlie.

I wanted to try these smaller pocket pages and 

I had a hard time getting the size of the photos right.

I don't measure well so instead of

tossing out the pix I mounted them on kraft because

I thought it went well with the surroundings.

 I did get carried away with the flowers.

And in looking at it now maybe I should've used white

instead of kraft but it was looking

mighty fine as I was going along so there it is.

I also found some Tim Holtz do-dads that worked

well with the photos.

 And how often do you get to work a radish in.

I think its a radish. LOL.

Using that stash up.

Since the pages of Andrew Jackson and Patrick

Henry are together in the album I decided

to combine their pamphlets together.

Broke out the lattice looking die cut

I haven't used it in awhile and I was bored

with just layering with paper

-pretty as they may be.

 I took the die and used it with multi-colored stripe paper

and it sorta came out with a rainbow effect.

Very cool.

 And there's the doily - told you I got carried away

and I'm not done yet.

Somehow, I missed this photo and it was a good thing

I was on the hunt for a photo and couldn't make a decision

because I'm quite decisive like that,

stumbled across this gem.

How could I miss that, Seriously.
