4 wheelin on the beach

The Matagorda beach and it was fun.
The show was also fun - as in peeps getting stuck
getting hauled out only to get stuck again.
It was amusing.
And kind of dangerous because you need a running start
to plow through the sand and cars everywhere doing it.
Looked like demolition derby night.

Portuguese man o' war that didn't make it.
They are gorgeous and deadly.

And the cows had the best view of the ocean while chewing their cud.

Great photos! We have been thinking we might need a jeep to tow as an alternative to the bikes...

It was according to DH easy to put the tow kit on- and the majority of rv's tow jeeps we found and you will have cover in inclement weather.

Yes, for all those same reasons we are considering it. Do you know, did you have to do anything to the transmission to tow it? Is it a stick shift or automatic?

6 speed 4. Wheel needs to be in neutral and car in 2nd we also have a braking system rvibreak2 inside we have blue ox aventa tow bar in rig and blue ox tow plate on car.

We have heard Blue ox is the best. I understand the 4 wheel being in neutral but the Jeep transmission has to be in 2nd gear? I would have thought it would be in neutral also (ie; out of gear).

It needs to be in second because the jeep manual says it keeps from splaying fluid everywhere.
